Waterfall

Toucan Valley Waterfall

While you're staying in Toucan Valley Resort make sure you hike down to our nearest waterfall.  It can change dramatically with the seasons.  You can access this waterfall from two trailheads--one near the office and one at the bottom of the villa road.  Ask about current conditions of the trails.  The trails are mostly marked with red caution tape tied around trees.

El Pavon

Visit El Pavon to cool off on a hot January day.  The unique waterfall is fun to swim up to and even behind.  Take the costanera highway north and turn at the SGEV sign just on the north side of the river.  Don't be fooled by the first sign that says waterfall.  The waterfall path starts right off the road and you will likely see others parked on the road.  You can also park across the street if you eat at the tilapia el pavon restaurant.  The trail is short only about 50 meters and the pool is deep enough to swim.
